Skeletal Romans

Fleshless bones held together by arcane energies and encased in the remnants of ancient armour, these loyal soldiers of the Empire still march and fight at their centurion's command. Like all skeletons they are hard to destroy with firearms, the shot passing straight through or clipping off bone. They must be smashed apart by hand or their arcane energies dissipated by enchanted weapons.

The might of Rome came from organisation, and these fleshless centurions still hold their legionaries in formation. Stronger and tougher than a normal skeleton, they act as arcane energy nodes that fuel their troops. Deal with them first, for their demise weakens all the others.
